Use a divide-by-10 (7490-like) set to divide >with 50% duty cycle or divide by 5 then by 2. > >On Tue, Jul 24, 2012 at 2:18 PM, Chris Wilson wrote: > >> >> >> 24/07/2012 13:14 >> >> My Racal Dana 9908 can take a 1 Mhz external reference. Re: [time-nuts] Have 10 MHz need 19.2 MHz
Fri, Jun 7, 2013 7:21 PM
For example, you could divide the 10 MHz by 25 ( a single 74HC390 could do it) to make 400 kHz, so 19.2 MHz could sync to the 48th harmonic. Ed

We had 10 species today with American Kestrels reaching 46 and the remainder no higher than about 10 each. At the end of the day we had a nice procession of 4 immature Northern Harriers. Non-raptor Observations: Interesting day, with Cedar Waxwings (430) again putting on a good show.

Re: [time-nuts] Any simple way to get 200 MHz from 10 MHz?

All you'd need is to add a digital divide by 10 chip to the circuit. GPSDOs have gotten really easy to build of late, just 2 or 3 chips. You could also phase lock a 100 Mhz OCXO or TCXO to your to your 10 Mhz reference. -- Chris Albertson Redondo Beach, California

If this assumption is true, the amount of sub 10 or 30 micron junk that gets by the 10 or 30 micron primary will not be so much that the secondary filter will ever require changing more often than recommended by the manufacturer.

With a 10 MHz input each instruction takes 400ns and if duty cycle isn't an issue nop instructions can be added each loop to extend the cycle period giving the following maximum PIC output rates with a 10 MHz clock. 2 instructions 1.25 MHz 50% duty cycle 3 instructions 833.333 KHz 33% duty cycle 4 instructions 625 KHz 25% duty cycle 5 instructions
