The second circuit can then employ a longer chain of cascaded mix and divide modules to further extend the resolution by perhaps another 32 bits or more whilst retaining an adjustment range of say 10 -100 ppm. In practice there may be few applications for such a 96 bit resolution DDS with a 10-100ppm adjustment range. Bruce

Re: [time-nuts] Advice on 10 MHz isolation/distribution amplifier
Thu, Feb 11, 2010 4:30 AM
I only have a really good 10 MHz OCXO crystal oscillator to distribute, so about -120 dBc at 10 Hz, -140 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz, - 150 dBc/Hz at 1KHz, and -155 dBc/Hz noise floor. No maser or cesium clock, living in the world of practical realities here.

Silver Sands Sparrow Walk (COA) 10/15/22
Sat, Oct 15, 2022 4:05 PM
Of the 10 sparrow species seen, highlights were Clay-colored, Vesper, 4 White-crowned, 4 Nelson’s, as well as Dickcissel and 2 Bobolinks. We missed seeing a Chat by seconds. A beauty fall day: 44-63F, sunny, clear, calm wind-ideal conditions for viewing sparrows.
