Re: [time-nuts] accurate portable time source

Provision for a coin cell back up battery. unknown) One of the DS3231 parts, in a thermal enclosure that has a time constant in excess of 24 hours. I think it's about the size you request. A temperature sensor changes the divisor based on calibration data. Sort of a doubly compensated device TTCXO or T2XO. I like this one for a practical product.

Fortunately, it seems that a coin-cell battery will work perfectly. Once the boards arrive I'll do some tests with the supercapacitor. Many thanks to all for your help. Cheers! -Pete

It’s set up with the customizer so it’s easy to play around with. I’m running it on OpenSCAD.24.09.20 and BOSL2 from maybe a couple of months ago. It’s not entirely debugged, but works. Using hull and cheating a little, the math is minimal. It’s all in calculating toothBaseWidth and toothHeight.

I turned the Walbro fuel pump on and I soon had an accumlation of diesel on top of the fuel tank. I finally tracked it down to a pinhole leak in the nylon tube which connects the filter to the pressure gauge.

For example, the 168 gal aluminum tanks we added to Winnie the Pooh are 26" high, about 84" long, about 24" wide at the top, and are divided into three compartments lengthwise, so the unsupported panel size is about 28x26". The tank material is 3/16" 5052.
