Re: [USRP-users] RFNoC -- Making FPGA design easy from GNU Radio

Is all of that packaged in the > ‘radio’ block or can, for example, a radio block be programmatically > connected to multiple DDC chains that are independently controlled? Currently, all the radio stuff is part of the radio block.

Re: [NewfLink] Question

I have some questions and normally on the Newf-L website I would get chastised and yelled at for this, but I’m going to try here. > > We are looking to add an addition to our family. A second newf. We really want a landseer this time. Yes, I have heard all the comments about how a black will bring you your newspaper and a landseer will read it to you!

Dave, Maybe so, however I went out to the junk pile and pulled all the ovens (a wide range of vintage from early 5060A to later 5061A/B and various FTS). There were 35 of them and they all have the electrode on the top (or side for the FTS) for burning open the burst diaphragm.

TWL: Re: all chain rode

I have three close friends who use the Super MAX on a daily basis with all chain. They are able to anchor in mud anchorages where they had nearly always drug before. They never had any problems related to the use of all chain. I looked at the Super MAX video and then tried to contact the three "experts" who had given the commentary.

Re: [time-nuts] NI GPIB cards

But they come in several versions not all of which are Plug and Play. So be sure the one you are bidding on says PNP on it. It is marked on the top of the card in clear letters. TNT was their name for the chip they designed that did all the GPIB interfacing. I have used John Miles software with the NI PCMCIA GPIB adapters I have. It works fine.

The sun persisted all day. Maximum snow on the ground was about 25 cm but much less under conifers, making walking relatively easy. All lakes were ice-covered but the Madawaska River was mainly open. Preliminary results follow.

I use a 1 liter laboratory wash bottle filled with diesel to hose the entire housing down and clean all that stuff out. If you haven't used one of these, it's a polyethylene bottle with a very fine nozzle at the top. Sprays a very tiny stream of liquid. This works great to rinse all the crud out.

Re: [time-nuts] Question about precise frequency / phase measurement

You would only see a sine wave if the difference frequency was stable an such that the LPF cut off all but the fundamental.
