Info on sailboat travel

Gerry, Actually you can step your mast on the Illinois River after mile 239.7 (southbound) for a clearance of 52' all the way to Mobile. However, 52' is the controlling clearnace at "normal pool". During periods of heavy rain the pool may go up 8, 10 or even 20 feet reducing the overhead clearance on fixed bridges accordingly.

Surprise Oil Analysis source
Wed, Jun 2, 1999 3:06 AM
Found an oil analysis kit marketed by Mobil Oil in my local Auto Zone automotive parts house today. According to the box "all laboratory tests are conducted on behalf of Mobil by Titan Laboratories." "Through a series of more than 50 tests..... analyzing the elements in your oil can help determine the condition of your engine."

TWL: XM Radio

I used the mobile adaptor as it came and it plug's into a tape deck cartridge slot to connect to a car radio with no direct connections. It occasionally stops playing for a moment as the boat goes under a bridge, but other than that, it is real nice, all except for that obnoxious sounding DJ they have on the 1950's music on channel 5.
