Calling All Artists

Pacific Gallery Artists (PGA) is a non  profit organization founded in
1946.  The purpose of PGA is to  promote art in the Pacific Northwest, interest
the public in the  work of local artists, and cooperate with local groups in
artistic  enterprises.

We welcome all  interested 2D and 3D artists.  We meet September through
June, the second Tuesday of the month, 7 PM, at the South Park  Community
Center, 4851 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA. (except Dec.  & June when we meet at
a private home).  We usually have a demo or hands on project at every
meeting.

                        DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING:   Tues. March 9th
                                                              TIME:  

7:00 PM - 9:00  PM

The program  will be a presentation  by mixed media artist, Becky Frehse.
Becky will  show examples of her  work, how she uses her materials and what
inspires her.  Becky has exhibited  throughout the state as well as in
Alaska and Kansas.  She has been adjunct  professor for art at the University
of Puget Sound,  Pacific Lutheran  University and art instructor for Charles
Wright  Academy.
Becky presently has an exhibit  at the Sandpiper Gallery which will
continue  until February  27th.
We extend an invitation to have all  interested artists, come to a meeting
as our guest.  Come visit us, we look  forward to meeting you.  We have a
three month member show  coming up, and if you join this month you can enter
the  show.
