Re: [time-nuts] Performance of 74LVC series ICs
Sun, May 31, 2015 8:59 PM
If you are running on a coin cell it’s worth checking. The 74AC series was essentially the first group of fast CMOS parts to hit the market. They were indeed fast. They also had some issues with lead frame induced glitches (power and ground pin locations …). You see a lot of odd things done to try to take care of this.

USRP B210 10 MHz Reference Input - Minimum Power
Tue, Aug 12, 2025 8:27 PM
What is the minimum power for the B210 10 MHz reference clock input? The knowledge base indicates +15 dBm maximum, but provides no minimum: https://files.ettus.com/manual/page_usrp_b200.html I was planning on distributing a 0 dBm sinusoidal 10 MHz reference clock to all the test equipment. Any problems with this approach with a B210? -Peter

Re: [time-nuts] Advice on 10 MHz isolation/distribution amplifier
Thu, Feb 11, 2010 12:54 PM
I only have a really good 10 MHz OCXO crystal oscillator to distribute, so about -120 dBc at 10 Hz, -140 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz, - 150 dBc/Hz at 1KHz, and -155 dBc/Hz noise floor. No maser or cesium clock, living in the world of practical realities here.
