Re: T&T: Bahamas GSM Cell Phones

Batelco's website says that the service is just Grand Bahamas and Nassau but I think they are way behind in updating the website. I also understand that Verizon phones no longer work in the Bahamas. Batelco offers a prepaid SIM Card that you can buy when you get there assuming you have a unlocked GSM phone.

Re: [USRP-users] B210 with two 8 bit streams, output is all 0's
Mon, Jul 25, 2016 4:55 PM
All I get is hard zeros, yet with the exact same hardware setup and signal, but using 16 bits, I get data. I can verify the correct green leds come on, so it is not the subdev spec or number of channels, I dont think. I have tried all sorts of stuff, including loading the latest (as of friday) code from git.

Re: SVG from Inkspace opens OK but DXF does not
Wed, Jun 23, 2021 10:47 AM
When I repeated opening my DXF, this time I got: WARNING: Unsupported DXF Entity 'SPLINE' (fc) in "Outline2Black.dxf". -------------------- Opening my original DXF in Inkscape again, and zooming in, should I have removed those remaining red marks, and if so how? Is that what you did before saving your DXF?

Re: [time-nuts] OT Euro/US plumbing was 14 tpi UNS die
Wed, Jul 8, 2009 4:14 AM
Sorry, but the European radiators, manifolds, fittings and valves that are coming into the US for use in hydronic heating systems are all straight pipe thread with O-rings and jamb nuts, and that is the reason for my mentioning of that fact. They are exactly as I described them.

Computing a fatality rate has two problems: - current reporting is percentage of those who have been tested who die versus total population after everyone is assumed to have been exposed. So if 100 are tested and of those 3 die, the rate is 3%. If another 200 have it but aren't tested, the 3 that die becomes 1%.
