They all die when it gets cold. I lived in Hawaii for 24 years. NEVER AGAIN. And speaking of frozen stuff, there's a technique everyone seems to use in Alaska to keep a windshield from icing up overnight that people in the lower 48 seem to have never heard of. Put a towel, piece of plastic tarp, etc. over the windshield when you park the car.

[Ontbirds] Female Ruffed grouse Britannia and Guelph line
Sun, Oct 12, 2014 4:08 PM
After only sighting one Ruffed Grouse on our property near Lowville in 15 years of watching we had a female fly into our window and die the other day. Unfortunate for the bird but confirmation for me of that these beautiful birds still in the area. Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers Wireless Network

TWL: Furthest location on our cruise...

If it gets too rough, even with the Gulf Stream boost--come inside and close the coast--the seas will die down. I found that at times I could make better time with smoother seas, than what boost the Stream gives it it kicks up. Bob Austin

I've purchased matching tap and die and use them to clean up poor threads, or when I drill out the plugs for reuse.

How often do normal GPS units grab a new copy from the satellites? -- These are my opinions, not necessarily my employer's. I hate spam.
