Hi If you dig back in the FCS archives, you will find papers on “cold” OCXO’s. You also will find papers on cryo cooled quartz. The bottom line appears to be that if you are going to all the trouble of cooling things, sapphire (or other exotic materials) are a better bet.

East River/Circle Beach 600 Gulls spread out in the marsh roost in East River behind the docks, on Circle Beach and along Grassy Island beach including a single adult ICELAND GULL (not "FC" the usual winter resident) and 200+ Bonaparte's Gulls flying west along the shoreline than around Sachem Head- 350 mostly Herring and Ring-billed in a raft of plankton

Also in Quebec on the 16th, another BROWN THRASHER was reported from Aylmer, visiting a property along Perry Rd. Mild tempertures on the 15th also stimulated a bit of singing among a group of 24 AMERICAN ROBINS near the Ottawa Civic hospital.
