Chester, 10/29 - hermit thrush
Mon, Oct 29, 2007 11:26 PM
10/29, Chester: Hermit thrush in our birdbath this afternoon. It's been around since the 26th, claiming the bath as its own and chasing away the other birds. It seems to have settled into the andromeda bush nearby; when I go out to fill the baths every morning at sunrise, I hear the hermit "chuck"ing at me softly from the foliage. - Tammy Eustis, Chester
