Re: [time-nuts] 10 MHz OCXO recommendations
Tue, Nov 11, 2014 12:00 PM
We have done a GPSPLL using a M7 at 1 KHz and tests show better than 1 E-10 at 1 second after 10 seconds GPS takes over it gets better following GPS performance. I have a few boards and op amps left over if interested contact me off list. Bert Kehren In a message dated 11/11/2014 1:05:49 A.M.

Re: [time-nuts] 10 MHz 'failover' switch?
Fri, Jul 27, 2018 4:29 PM
Getting great isolation at 10 MHz is the easy part, given enough switching elements and control. One question is whether the switchover needs to be transparent (glitchless), without adding or losing any clock cycles, and ideally with no phase shift.

Re: [time-nuts] Advice on 10 MHz isolation/distribution (Clay)

Hi Have you looked into any actual data on small rf transformers under vibration at 10 MHz? A change of a nH isn't the same thing at 10 MHz as at 6.3 GHz. An air core coil in the signal path at 6G would indeed be an issue. A circulator likely would not be.

74ACT160 100MHz divide by 10
Mon, Jul 20, 2020 2:14 PM
The MC74act160N is a dip part available from Ebay at 10 for $10.00. The package is obsolete so unless you plan to buy safety stock it isn't for production. https://www.ebay.com/i/113374007747?chn=ps I resurrected my old Motorola FACT data book and: At 5V it is rated to 120MHz with 50p loading at 25C. It is rated at 100MHz over temperature.

Bluff Point 10/1
Sun, Oct 1, 2017 1:57 PM
It was a very small flight of about 65 warblers, none headline grabbing, but we did have 10 species despite the small numbers.  Highlights were a DICKCISSEL, 2 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER, and over 3000 TREE SWALLOWS streaming across a broad front from SW to NE, presumably dispersing from the Connecticut River roost.

Thanks to Sol, Howie, Bill Sweet and Amanda Kallenbach, we had a good day in the misty chilly weather. 20 Osprey, 25 Northern Harriers including 2 Gray Ghosts, 3 Bald Eagles, 9 Sharp-Shins, 9 Cooper’s, 10 Merlin’s, 15 Kestrels and 2 Peregrine Falcons, of which, because Bill Sweet got a photograph, 1 had a band on its leg, made up the Hawk migration.

Agenda items for call March 10
Tue, Mar 3, 2015 5:16 PM
I want to remind you that our next call is March 10, 2015 at 2PM (EDT). Please send me agenda items so that we can prepare for the call. Obviously, there is a lot going on in the courts involving civil rights defense and I have seen a couple of bad cases come out recently. Any suggestions for agenda topics will be helpful. Chuck Charles W.

Check out the TADD-2 which does just that -- http://www.tapr.org/kits_tadd-2.html John ---- Marco IK1ODO said the following on 10/27/2009 03:40 PM: > Anyone knows of a commercially available 10 MHz -> 1pps divider chain, > built or in kit form? > I know that it may be very simple or not, depending from > implementations.
