In the absence of Greg Hanisek, I took the count today. Thanks to Sol, Howie, Bill Sweet and Amanda Kallenbach, we had a good day in the misty chilly weather.
20 Osprey, 25 Northern Harriers including 2 Gray Ghosts, 3 Bald Eagles, 9 Sharp-Shins, 9 Cooper’s, 10 Merlin’s, 15 Kestrels and 2 Peregrine Falcons, of which, because Bill Sweet got a photograph, 1 had a band on its leg, made up the Hawk migration.
Other birds today...
19 Canada Goose
38 Double-crested Cormorants
5 Great Blue Herons
1,500 plus Tree Swallows
250 or more Blue Jays
3 late Bobolinks
1 Dickcissel.
A full report is in eBird
