The evenings include a short business meeting, a program or demonstration in various media, socializing, and a chance to meet new art friends, be inspired and supported in your art endeavors. We have several art shows in the South Sound during the year.

Qualcomm customer support directed me to an AOL website where i downloaded a shareware utility called cardpwr.exe which turns off the power management (cell modems apparently do their own). Unfortunately, the first couple of times I tried it, it worked the first time and didn't the second.

The bad news is that is does not allow direct download of S-57 charts from the NOAA website. The guy at Tech Support with whom I spoke acknowledged the importance to the company of protecting its revenues from the sales of charts which sounds just like Nobeltec!
