NEW YORK CANALS BOND ISSUE
Mon, Jul 11, 2011 11:35 PM
The new guys are die-hard canallers, and have a lot of plans for the canal system, including reconstruction of several locks, major dredging all over, and a lot of maintenance, some very much overdue. This all takes money, lots of it.

TWL: RE: Cummins Diesels VT555 270's

The d-mn engines just won't die. Eventually they repower anyway -- selling the 555's to a commercial fisherman or someone looking for parts. Parts and service can be a problem. This I have to admit. Parts are available, but major items are in limited supply and expensive!

If you are not PC literate, I would recommend buying a dedicated Radar platform from one of the top vendors. Of course now they all offer integrated solutions as well, so you really don't have to give up the Radar overlay functionality.

I have seen SLA's (in UPS's) 'shrivel' and get very hot as they die. I'll have to take a look at the 732A manual to see what it's battery construction looks like.

If you utter an undefined variable name in any other expression context, you get an error; when you give one to *this specific function* you don't. > > Nobody will die, but every such magic case that you add makes the language harder to understand. > > --- > > Let's look at other languages for a moment.
