Y valve lockout and how to do it
Sun, Feb 17, 2008 10:44 AM
Another GL poster claimed that you can leave the Y- valve in the system for a quick hook-up when needed - but isn't a Y- valve part of the discharge lines /hoses ???

Y-Valves for waste - which one works best?
Wed, Apr 20, 2005 1:01 PM
The recent thread on Lectra-Sans mentions Y-Valves. The most commonly available is the Forespar product with the miraculous "breaking handle" feature (even the re-design seems to be junk). There are others, but which one is best, especially for those of us who don't use them frequently? Has Practical Sailor ever tested these? Peter www.SeaSkills.com

it is a way to use a carrier fc to make one SSB signal with fm modulation frequency, use just the side-band, , which have a frequency of fc + fm = fR, [fR/fc is a function of the SSB modulator carrier suppression capability,] fm could be from less than 1/2 fc any frequency to zero, if it is zero fR =f c.
