Re: TWL: Practice With Survival Suits

Just like your story in the St Lawrence, nothing nautical involved, just layers of winter clothing because after all, I was working and moving around my boat which I couldn't have done in survival gear. George of Scaramouche1, Lake Ontario, Canada

This wiped out all of my saved routes, etc. You might want to back those up before installing the upgrade. Scott Welch FirstClass Product Manager www.firstclass.com "Things turn out best for people who make the best of the way things turn out." - John Wooden

The references to Mobil products are just because they are the ones I am using in my investigation. Some of the "Short Shots" will be just reporting information that comes in and appears interesting. After all, the Captain still gets to "wreck" the boat.

John shared: 1) the dual props are not protected by an in line keel [scott] 90% of the boats in coastal waters have exposed running gear, think of all those outboards and I/O's. It's just something you have to get use to.

[Ontbirds] Eastern Ontario: Snowy owl irruption continues
Sun, Dec 29, 2013 12:57 AM
With all of the sighting south of eastern Ontario there must be 100's of Snowy Owls in Ontario. I have found the best time to look for these owls is late day or on overcast days. Check all the telephone poles, fence posts, buildings in open farm land areas and tree tops.

Also guess I'd have to use the die to put new threads on the sender to fit in the T/valve setup I intend to use.? ? It's not new threads. They are the same pitch. By running the tap a little further in it will enlarge the hole and let you screw the fitting (US pipe) further into the fitting.

Checking some pricing, the same die (in the same package) could sell for pennies or big bucks.
