house finch eye disease
Sun, Dec 30, 2007 12:54 AM
Some do recuperate on their own, some die and occasionally those that can be caught can be given medication. I did have a goldfinch with an infected eye at my feeder this year. **************************************See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop00030000000004)

New Adagio website
Wed, Sep 15, 1999 6:43 AM
Dear List, I finally got around to organizing a project website: adagiomarine.homepage.com. Folks keep bugging us to publish some of our stuff, so when I came across a free hosting site, I thought "what the heck...".

We need to let Sally Jewel know plain and simple: Don't Let The Eagles Die, Let Em' Fly. Click here to make sure she gets the message. This is not the first time USFWS has tried to pull this stunt.

TWL: Adagio website busted links fixed

I use the FTP Disk feature of Interarchy to automatically keep the remote website synchronized to my local master website. There is a subtle case in the new version where this can fail.

On the Dendroica website, you'll find several pictures of each North American species along with many examples of each species' calls and songs. You can create a list of only the MBW species, if you'd like to study these in detail, or you can browse through all of the species found in the U.S.

bimini top stains
Fri, May 28, 2004 1:15 AM
Our marina, following the hurricane, tarred the covered slip roof that now drips of tar and rust stain on our bimini top. Would anyone have an idea of what I might use to clean this off and perhaps treat the bimini top for future drips? Joe Goldsmith Sheer Magic

Convection stove top
Mon, Oct 1, 2012 8:15 PM
Jonas, are you thinking of an 'induction' stove top?  The 120 volt versions are usually one or two burner, portable types while the "built-in" stove tops are 220 volt.  If you're one who runs a genset while cooking, even the one burner could be a time and energy saver. Bill

TWL: Stove tops and Convection microwaves
Mon, Sep 16, 2002 1:32 PM
In order to get extra cabinet space in the galley I was considering going to an electric 3 burner stove top and a convection oven/microwave unit to mount on the overhead - GE, Sharp etc. However I would miss the broiler on my old Princess which I would be chucking out. I have seen a Force 10 unit that is a stove top only with broiler under.
