He explained that they are primarily in existence for commercial shipping, and was really not equipped for all the requests he had received since this thread started. he asked me to ask you to take it easy on him, but was willing to take my address anyway (until he found out I was on the east coast.

It was built in with only 2 small grills at the top of the cabinet that it was in (approximately four 2 1/2" dia holes under the grills). When I put the new unit in I added lots of air circulation both at the top of the cabinet, behind it and to one side. We have never used the unit to make ice in the small cube trays that came with it.

Gee, having a boat that needs heat is the other side of the coin ;-) I think if one is re-wiring or have a new boat built they should consider where that boat might go in the long term, warm and/or cold water. Not having Aircon in some areas makes a boat very unwelcome to many people. Same as not having heat when the high is 45f.

I've heard of coin cells failing due to air freight. The pressure changes are always something to consider. I put a lot of camping gear in ammo cases. You can always tell which cases seal because they are a bugger to open after a trip from the mountains. ------Original Message------ From: J.

I brought up the open source GPIB software and solutions because I would much rather spend my limited coin on specialized hardware, than on high priced software. -Chuck Harris Marvin E.

Holding Tank Float Switch
Wed, Jul 9, 2008 9:36 PM
It threads into the threaded plastic cover plate on top of the tank and appears to have 3/8-inch threads. It looks like the Sealand holding tank level switches pictured on the Sealand cover plate shown in the West Marine catalog. I didn't see any individual replacement parts either in the WM catalog or on the Sealand website.
