Re: TWL: Easy Lightning Protection
Tue, Nov 26, 2002 8:34 PM
f these two foot lightening rods on barns. They are only protecting a couple feet of the barn. There are now more sophisticated techniques based on a sphere rolling above the protrusions being protected, but that discussion would be over sharing! Lightening protection is very much an art. Niagara Peninsula Hawkwatch - Beamer Conservation Area (26 Apr 2025) 51 Raptors

All counting is done by volunteers. Not all members are counters nor does a counter have to be a member. Typically one person is the designated counter for each day but other observers present assist with the spotting and identification. Counting is done from a steel observation tower with a wooden floor.

One thing that doesn't make sense is that >> the tx_io bus (https://github.com/EttusResea >> rch/fpga/blob/593aae943b7d18e4e165ccd91a6b6581005e62e8/ >> usrp2/top/N2x0/u2plus.ucf#L73-L88) is 16 bits wide while the number of >> bits in the cpp file is 19 to TX (if you add up all of the widths >> in ubx_v1_gpio_info for TX.

3458A - To Modify or Not To Modify?
Wed, Nov 2, 2011 1:44 PM
If I leave it 'un-modified', it is successfully calibrated and I purchase the service agreement, when the 1997 DALLAS chips finally die, it gets a nice trip back to Loveland for the 'full repair', all for the price of $175.20 per year.

Re: T&T: Sikkens Cetol

Last spring I refinished all the topside teak and the combing around the eyebrow level. Once it's finished properly (with at least several gloss coats) Cetol is relatively easy to keep up following their directions.

Top coat wood interior floors for UV
Fri, Feb 15, 2019 5:27 PM
It has been suggested that a spar varnish be used for top coating, but I am sure that many of you have found other options. We will have 65% light block mesh on the saloon side windows and 92% mesh across the front, which will help, but I would prefer to finish the coating with something UV resistant and forget about it for our life on the boat!!
