Separate chargers (or legs) for each bank, or they do not get fully topped off. Readily available distilled (or rain or dehumidifier condensate) water for topping off electrolyte. Good digital meter for testing. I also like my inductive amp meter (12 vdc design) to confirm current flows during sanity checks.

Re: SVG Problem

(OpenSCAD's model is the usual mathematical model; SVG's is based on putting the origin at the top left corner of a piece of paper.)  This means that the import process has to modify all of the coordinates, making it harder to find the matching entries.  I'm sure it's a simple transformation, but I don't know what it is off the top of my head.

Re insulation

Allright all you wise listees! I see a little bit of "marine" buildup on some of my connectors between the laptop and the bridge screen and mouse. Some of these are bendix(?) connectors and I see something on the same type connectors to my ICOM 502. Will smearing these connectors with die electric grease harm the signals travelling through these thin wires?

That said, I thought I would die laughing when we came upon "Never again II". We can all appreciate that one. Bob Horne
