From Frank Mantlik, with Sunrise Birding group- 10/22. Westport, Sherwood Is. State Park - a delightful morning for a bird walk, which tallied 58 species. Highlights were adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, 5 Common Loons, Black-crowned Night-Heron, yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Blue-headed Vireo, E. Towhee, 7 sparrow species including 1 White-crowned.

Birders visiting during the week may be able to enter the Visitor Centre to view the feeders and exhibits. Check in with staff to find out what birds are being seen.
