Re: [OpenSCAD] Better way of creating a curved slope?

The problem with polyhedron is that you have got to do all this book keeping. And it's easy to botch it, sometimes in subtle ways which make your result invalid. To me it makes much more sense to use general purpose polyhedron making routines like skin() and sweep() functions.

Because of this, I always clean up the threads by running a thread die down them before I screw them in. As long as I've gone that far, I'll clean up the threads in the plug with a thread tap also. So far, all of the threads that I've run into are standard, coarse US threads, though there are some metric out there.

Hi Yes, I have seen several Rb's die from what I believe were temperature related causes. Since it's an accelerated MTBF sort of thing, *proving* they were temperature related is difficult. Put another way - I believe the manufacturer's data on MTBF vs temperature is fairly accurate.

[Ontbirds]Olive-sided Flycatcher singing in Toronto
Wed, Aug 22, 2007 1:14 PM
Listening to its song made it easy to imagine that we were in Algonquin Park or beside a muskeg pond in the boreal forest. Later we saw two Olive-sideds. Several are here in late August every year. Look for them in similar habitat: top of a tall dead tree in a forest opening or edge. They usually return to the same perch after catching insects.
