Chandler & Price 26" guillotine paper cutter for sale
Wed, Aug 29, 2012 11:07 PM
We have a old 26" Chandler & Price guillotine paper cutter for sale. We're asking $600. We've had it for over 30 years, and it has seen light use. It has one blade, currently sharp. You must move it. It comes apart but will require several strong people to move. Luckily, it's located on the ground floor near a door that opens onto the sidewalk.

Fwd: 26 Brant Geese at Long Wharf

> Subject: 26 Brant Geese at Long Wharf > > As you saw, I looked at Sibley again, and there are two pretty clear distinctions between Canada and Brant: neck ring vs chin strap, and smaller bill and head. The small size and the light color on the flanks were what struck me at first, but Canada geese can vary a lot in those aspects. > > Nice day!

Don, As a die hard liveaboard I would say that a clothes washer/dryer has been the best appliance I have purchased for my vessel and one I could not do without now. You mentioned sinks, I have had both stainless steel and porcelian and would go for stainless steel everytime, they are strong, easy to clean and will not crack or chip like porcelian.

Re: T&T: thru-hull replacement
Sun, May 7, 2006 1:36 PM
Rather than "unscrew" them, the mechanic used a cutting burr on an air die grinder to grind the inside of the mushroom flange (from outside the boat) which then allowed the flange to fall off. We, then, could easilly remove the remaining threaded shank and nut from inside the boat. This made for a quick and easy job without damage to the hull.

If that were to happen it would limit the working life of the unit in a way that wouldn't be easy to get around. -- john, KE5FX
