Sun, Apr 27, 2014 4:37 PM
I'm posting a day late, since I had to spend the morning here with my Computer, iphone apps; iBird and BirdTunes and Guidebooks all working at once to confirm that it was a Female Scarlet Tanager. However there are two facts of the sighting that have thrown me into a little confusion.

Re: [PUP] Any suggestion - or PPM should die ?

Size may dictate models or brands, but it is still all good. It is also important to understand the intended use of your PPM. For example, the PPM for the Inside Passage and Alaska might be constructed of different materials than a PPM intended for runs from New England to Trinidad.

The adult male Barrow's Goldeneye found by Bill Crins at the Lakefield sewage lagoons yesterday was on the nearby Otonabee River this morning, Sunday April 26. It was with a group of Common Goldeneye close to the west shore of the river about 2km south of the junction of County Rd. 33 and Water Street, the road that runs down the east shore of the river.

I have several of these modules for an upcoming project, good thing they have not been plugged very much if at all yet. I can't believe that eBay's ubiquitous far East vendors would provide inaccurate documentation. Who can you trust nowadays...

Re: T&T: Induction cook top/modified sine wave inverter
Sun, May 20, 2018 12:27 AM
Are the electronics in an induction cook top similar to a microwave or should it work on modified sine wave inverter power? Induction burners themselves are fine on MSW power, quite unlike microwave tubes. In fact, inside an induction hob the incoming power is first rectified to DC and then inverted to a high frequency AC.
