Birders,
A few birds flew against a north wind last night.
At Ojibway Prairie in west Windsor on Saturday I
found:
House Wren - 7 singing
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 5
Field Sparrow - 14 singing
Rusty Blackbird 26
E. Towhee 30 plus
Blue-headed Vireo - 1 singing at the south end of the
Ont.Prov. Prairie Reserve
Directions: Drive west on the E.C. Row Expressway, and
exit at Matchette Road. Turn left and drive 600
meters.
Ojibway Nature Centre is on your right. Park in the
lot, and exit through the front gate onto the bike
path. Walk 800 meters. Tallgrass Prairie is on your
left, and Ont. Prov. Prairie Nature Reserve is on your
right.
Good birding,
