TWL: RE: Support Your Local (US) Power Squadron
Wed, Dec 12, 2001 5:57 PM
The Aux has recently seen an upswing in membership but I suspect it is post 9/11 and a desire on the part of many Americans to participate in some meaningful effort to support their nation. I do not think we are seeing PS members moving to CGAux. Usually it goes the other way.

Having the event > loop for every instance might not be ideal (in case the library > supports multiple open calls at all). Good point. I'll look into that. > Calling updateGL() in a timer is going to kill performance for > every non-trivial model. State of the World's Birds

The website is divided into four main sections: Introduction, State, Pressure, Response. Each section contains a number of overarching themes with supporting text and case studies, the latter presenting the evidence for key messages and examples of BirdLife's work. Audubon is the BirdLife International partner in the United States.

Apple iPad and Adobe Flash
Sat, Sep 25, 2010 5:39 AM
iPad does not support Adobe Flash content because so far Adobe has not been able to deliver a version of their Flash browser plug-in that works reliably on mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad. There are videos (Youtube) showing Flash enabled websites running on Android mobile devices and the results have been less than impressive or consistent.
