I usually used a non-rechargeable lithium coin cell. Keeping it separate from the GPS allows it to be easily disconnected to clear the memory.

Re: Sampling channels at different rates
Mon, Dec 16, 2024 6:47 PM
Over the 10 s of capture, I switch of the signal at the same time on both channels (exact same time because the switch is before the RF coupler). Both capture are roughly aligned in time, but when I zoom, I see 26 us of delay (which is roughly 10 samples at rx_rate_1 of 390625). Am I wrong expecting a "perfect timing" ?

If anybody needs a PCM61P I have quite a few spares and at around US$ 10 I'll post to anywhere.

Cold weather brings them visiting!
Sun, Jan 20, 2008 6:42 PM
And just a few days ago I left at 8:30 am and arrived back home to find a gray phase screech owl who apparently was also hit and killed by a car right in front of my driveway, between then and 10 am. Across from our driveway is a stand of hemlock and pines that I regularly hear them calling from.

Re: [time-nuts] Standards sought for immunity of shielded cable links to power-frequency ground loops

I've used 10 ohms in like labs, with success. I'll grant that this would not work with long wires outside. By the way, I also finally talked to one of our most experienced EMI/EMC engineers. He suggested using MIL-STD-461 test CS109, even though CS109 was developed for enclosures.
