Ride the Art Bus & Play in Clay Help Tacoma Art Place by buying your Art Bus ticket from us! If TAP sells six tickets our stop will be free! We have tickets at the front desk. You will exchange your paper ticket for the Art Bus pin at the start of the event. Tickets must be purchased from TAP in advance...first come, first served. The Art Bus will be coming to TAP for the July 21st Artwalk/Art Bus activities. Get your hands on some clay at Tacoma Art Place! Thursday, 7/21, 4pm to 8pm Art Walk visitors and Art Bus riders will all have an opportunity to grab some clay and learn how to roll it by hand and position it between two dies to make a souvenir coin, or add a hole to make a pendant. If you leave your new work of art at TAP along with your contact information it'll be fired for you to pick up another day. Ceramic artist Cat Grey will be leading this activity and answering questions about clay, glazes, and the firing process. Fun!
