I wanted to print a triangular prism on its side (toblerone!) with the top flattened and a V notch then cut in this to let me stand a thin object in it. It wouldn't need any infill other than where the flat/notch on the top was.

The black foam is history (we all have ICs with corroded leads in the garage where the black foam turns to goo). Here at JPl, we don't use the pink bags/peanuts/stuff at all, because apparently, the coating can flake or rub off. We use plastic that has a very thin metalized layer, and I think that's pretty much industry standard now.

All, Being in Chicago by Labor Day is a convenient and easy date to remember. That said, back in 1959 I remember having 4 inches of SNOW at our cottage on Moon Island, 22 miles down the South Channel from Parry Sound (near Sans Souci, Ont) in the Georgian Bay on Labor Day!

Our 'lit'l yacht' passagemaker has bimini top, VHF, GPS, cell phone, etc. -- everything but radar and a head. We are learning quickly how long it takes to get anywhere at 6-8 knots, although "lit'l yacht" tools along nicely at 14 knots when the Bay and Delta permit it (not often) with its Evinrude 9.9.

Summer Tanager & dying redpolls
Tue, Feb 5, 2002 7:33 PM
They were all feeding on niger seed. This has occurred over a few weeks in the Eganville area. I suggested yesterday to the last caller, she clean the feeder and put out oil seed instead. If they still die, then it must be a transmitted disease. If not, the niger may be contaminated.
