ANd he picked and choosed all of the different areas he painted and did a great job of painting almost all of the wood while leaving "accents" of varnished wood. He ended up selling the boat and got top dollar as it stood. I think if tastefully and thoughtfully done, it would be fine. I know I would as I hate doing britework.

Re: Top 10 Trawlers/Great Harbour or Florida Bay?

The typical morot cruiser which floats on top of the water with 18 feet of superstructuer in the air and about 18 - 24 inches of hull in the water automatically eliminated it from consideration of a trawler. Just my impressions but what the hey!!! After all you did ask for opinions without any constraints. Should be a good exercise. Arild

5200/hair - top things to not say to wife...
Mon, Jun 1, 2009 12:17 PM
I'm offering this list to all husbands who find themselves in similar situations. The top 5 things to NEVER say to your wife after you've caused 5200 to end up in her hair: #5. Let's finish up and I'll take you out to dinner. (How could she possibly be seen in public with 5200 in her hair - who knew?) #4. Do you want me to cut it out?
