10/26. Stratford, Russian Beach & Stratford Point - With the ENE wind and mist today, I conducted a Sound-watch this morning and early afternoon in three parts. There was a decent (mostly westward) migration by loons, all 3 scoters, and other ducks, plus an eastward flight by Laughing Gulls.

Continue to practice self-care and an abundance of caution in all activities. Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Loretta Parham who was voted one of Atlanta’s Top 500 most powerful leaders! The “Atlanta 500” edition of Atlanta Magazine pays tribute to the city’s most powerful leaders. This year, Loretta Parham was one of the honoree.

From Hank Golet: 04/26/10 - Portland, Portland Fair Grounds -- 12 WILSON'S SNIPE. I'm sure there were more Snipe but the grass is high enough so they cannot be seen. Most of the birds that I saw got up in front of me as I walked around the wet area on the right that is just past the buildings.
