Re: [time-nuts] Where does 28V come from?
Tue, Jul 21, 2009 8:35 PM
Henace a lot of ex-mobile phone co equipment, such the HP/Symmetricom Z380xx, Lucent RFTG's that were around, and power amplifiers used on 23 and 13cm amateur bands, is normally capable of being powered from either 28V or 48V supplies, since it could be deployed in either situation. In all environments I encounter it, it is called 48V and not 50V.

websites with basic boat electrical systems info?
Tue, May 15, 2007 10:17 PM
I'm looking for some websites that would be good to refer novice boat owners to so they can learn about the basics of marine electrical systems. Any suggestions? Also, I thought I had a link that actually showed the ABYC standards, but can't find it now. You of course can't access them through their regular website. Am I dreaming?

When I was 4, I took off with some older kids and picked trash all day with them, collecting metal for scrap. At the end of the day I turned in my collection and received a few coins from the scrap dealer. At that age I had no idea what coins were, though I had heard ya could throw them in the fountain ... so I did.

[data, len] = step(hSDRu, fc); ) and fftplot(). I mean I am directly computing FFT using data read from USRP2, Is it correct OR should something else be done to prepare this data??? In [data, len] = step(hSDRu, fc), 'len' is always 0 even though I am getting some complex numbers in 'data', can you please comment why this is so.
