I bet I get flamed for this. We all know the situation - the local
policymakers are POed that cruisers are glomming free services and not paying for
anything. In their mind, a source of taxation/revenue that is not being
tapped is a travesty.

I had an interesting experience today. We pulled up the fuel dock to take
on fuel for a day trip this morning. A sail boat was already there taking
on fuel. I put about $100 of fuel aboard. The sail boat put $150 aboard.
I don't know how long that will last him, but I thought it ironic that a
ragbagger would buy more fuel than an old stinkpot driver.
