The public is invited to select one or more bowls celebrating the event for $10 each. Bowls have been created by volunteers – including children – and professional potters throughout the area. This is a perfect time to pick up "memorable" Holiday gifts that tell a story. Admission is free. Bowls may be taken home as a reminder that our community continues to fill the empty bowls of hungry children and adults. The public is also invited to join artists and anti-hunger activists for soup provided by The Swiss Tavern & Ale House, and EFN’s Mother Earth Farm. Fresh bread and water will also be provided. In the past twelve years Empty Bowls has raised more than $110,000 with all proceeds going to provide food for Pierce County food banks and hot meal sites and free art opportunities for young people.
