River northbound 29 May
Sat, May 29, 2010 5:54 PM
Any attempt to keep oil out of the bays and tidal estuaries like the
Mobile
River are doomed to failure as even a 1-knot current will pass oil under a boom. Rich Gano CALYPSO (GB-42 #295) Southport, FL (near Panama City)

I need someone to periodically check on a boat in
Mobile
. Last fall I stored my boat on the hard at Dog River Marina. I had planned on re-launching in April and continue cruising. I live in Cleveland, OH. unfortunately, a quadruple heart bypass in March changed my plans.

WiFI Router Recommendations
Thu, Jul 4, 2019 10:44 AM
We are considering adding a
Mobile
WiFi Router for use on our boat. Sometimes referred to “MiFi.” Reasons: More secure access, more consistent access, can support multiple devices. Some of these devices can be powered by 12volt or 120volt while others can only be operated with 120volt service. We would prefer one that could operate off DC or AC.

I am using
Mobil
one synethic because Shell Rotella is not available in this viscosity. On the Taurus I have also gone to 5,000 mile oil change intervals with oil analysis every 10,000 miles. Just turned 80,000 miles and
all
is well. David Keese alabat
