As Skipper Bob said, downtown Mobile has no recreational marinas. I know of 2 people that miscalculated that last days trip down the Tenn-Tom in both distance and time because they misinterpeted the information that the Dog River marina's were at mile 0 of the Tenn-Tom. Mile 0 is downtown Mobile, and the marinas are still 14 to 15 miles down Mobile bay. So if you are at mile 70 on the Tenn-Tom, the marinas are at 85 miles away. Gary www.calypsopoet.net
