Greetings,
Because of this site, I have viewed several rare birds from the photos you have all shared, got involved in the piping plover monitoring program, reported about resident Canada geese to the state, and forced myself to stop at Milford Point yesterday for a super quick visit. Birding groups can be intimidating to novice birders like me but this list serv has been extremely welcoming and kind.  THANK YOU to those who can get out to those great sites when I can't (3 kids, grad school, etc.). Keep on sharing the great information.
