Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsRecently someone asked about installing a KVH TV antenna in addition to a radar
antenna on their radar arch and I misplaced the persons email address.
I have pictures of my installation.
I can email them to anyone who has an interest.
I believe it is important to install the TV antenna higher than the radar
antenna so that the radar antenna will not interfere with the TV antenna trying
to "see" a satelite.

Henry and GL List,
We have had a KVH TV antenna on our boat for the past 9 years and
works flawlessly as long as it is not blocked by a building or a bad
storm.
Ours is mounted below and aft of the Radar arch and below the RADAR
antenna, but has sufficient distance between the two antennas to have
a clear view of the sky.
Photo's of the boat on our website -- Summer of 2002 from Chesapeake
to Lake Erie (pics) # 1.
