Ralph,

I used Osprey marine composites in Deale, MD (located in Herrington Harbor
North) for a bottom job and installing a bow thruster tube a few years ago -
they knew there stuff and were flexible with letting me do some of the work
myself (to reduce cost).  They were not cheap but seemed in line with others
around the bay.

Point Lookout Marina in southern MD has a pretty good reputation although I
have not used them for major work - I know several happy customers of bottom
jobs but don't know if they have done deck replacements or interior wood
work.

Good luck,

Mike

Would you mind sending me a short note if you have any
particularly good - or bad - experience with facilities
doing major trawler repairs in the Chesapeake Bay area.  I'm
thinking about replacing teak decks with fiberglass,
removing blisters, redoing some interior furnishings, on a
34' Marine Trader.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Without your
experience, I almost have to flip a coin.

Best regards,
