Iâm attaching the proposed update/streamline of NCLâs policy principles, as well as the old version. I think I shared this revision a while back but we havenât time on the agenda to discuss in a while. Youâll see its on the agenda for tmw.
As youâll recall, I recommend that we update our policy principles because the old version had some out-of-date stuff (like WIA recommendations).
How to evaluate: In my mind, these policy principles are an important tool that need to be thorough enough to provide foundational justification for most of the proposals and legislation that NCL is likely to be asked to take a position on, while being broad enough to be deemed acceptable to all current members and appealing to potential new members.
