Lighthouse Point Park, New Haven, 10/25/17, 7am-1pm. 5 Migrating Hawks. 1 Osprey, 2 American Kestrel and 1 Peregrine Falcon migrated during the first hour from 7 to 8am. 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk migrated just before 1 pm. Unlike yesterday’s 750 Double-crested Cormorants, only 110 passed by. Thanks to Robin McAllister, Ed Haesche and Annette Pasek for wanting to see more hawks than there were today.
