10/2 - Litchfield - Little Pond

10/2 - Litchfield, South Lake St, Little Pond, 5:30 until dark --  9
BLUE-WINGED TEAL, 4 NORTHERN PINTAIL (female plumage), WILSON'S SNIPE,
AMERICAN WOODCOCK, 6 MARSH WREN, 10 RUSTY BLACKBIRD, 6 PURPLE FINCH, also 68
Wood Duck, 4 American Wigeon, 10 American Black Duck, 2 Green-winged Teal,
Hooded Merganser, Virginia Rail, Pied-billed Grebe, Osprey, 3 Northern
Harrier, Greater Yellowlegs, 25 Swamp Sparrow, 55 White-throated Sparrow.

Please note that the boardwalk at Little Pond is 75 percent flooded.  The
birds were observed by going in from the South Lake Street entrance and
turning right on the boardwalk.
