Al,
We had a 42 Grand Banks that came (to us) with old-type roller shades on the
three front windows. The shade had a female snap at the bottom center, and
there was a corresponding male snap on the teak trim below the window. This
actually worked really slick. Fast, easy to use, blocked all light, never
rattled underway in the up position. When up it was easy to not realize that
they were there. Just another idea. Good luck!
