Good morning Captain Al
We have been reading the GB posts with interest - our boat isn't a GB, but
the top part looks like one - the builder did some copy-catting.
I was interested in the post you sent that was a quote from someone's e-mail
to you - would it be possible to put them in touch with us? I would be
interested in knowing what size GB he has to have been able to do this. We
like the storage under our settee, but the settee itself isn't particularly
comfortable, and we are looking at alternatives. I'm hoping whoever it is
would be willing to answer a couple of questions.
Thanks,

Right on the money, as usual, Al. One of my requirements in a salon is room
for two recliners, for me and my bride. We ripped out all the bolt-upright
church pews, and put in a curved leather sectional with a recliner on each
end. Super setup for reading, naping, or entertaining a few people. I'm
getting too damn old to put up with uncomfortable seats.

Who ever sent me the above please get in touch with Darby.
And by the way you can alter the seat angle come further out into the room
and get some decent cushions and still have the storage underneath and have
something comfortable to sit on. I built one for my last boat that was very
comfortable, if someone really needs it I could probably put a picture on
my site. I took the measurements off a comfortable sofa and duplicated same
on top of the three large draws under and designed it so it opened into a
nice double bed.
Put that gray matter to work, I've got confidence in you.
