Hello All;

I checked my Tom-Tom One XL today, and #32 showed up on the satellite
screen, although it's signal strength bar was "grayed out", even
though the signal strength was higher than most of the other satellites.

I'm guessing that this means the GPS was seeing #32 as unhealthy, or
was otherwise not using it.

The unit was working otherwise.

It is the local receiver that does not track it particularly well, can be
reception problems. My TomTom GO 920T tracks it perfectly.

Be sure to use an external antenna when using the TomTom in the car, everyone
should be doing that. Much better skyview that way, which improves precission.

Mine also has a simple form of IMU...

Cheers,
Magnus

Hi Magnus;

It isn't a reception problem, as the signal strength bar for 32 is at
full height.  Just grayed out.

It simply isn't using the satellite for some reason.

I'll let the battery die (and hopefully lose the ephemera data) and
restart and see what happens.
