Team!
Goose Here! Circa 1994-2016. I was the one chasing the ball at Flanker when Norris kicked it to the other team! Sorry Scottie. I wanted to formally reach out with an idea. Many of us at games, the Rover etc have discussed a more formal way the old boys could contribute monetarily. Several of us have already pledged different dollar amounts but cant seem to get together to ever really discuss it.
Our goal is try try to get a group of people who would be willing to donate to the club annually that we can basically count on. Many clubs have different tiers associated with this. Tiers are usually Bronze $250, Silver $500 and Gold $1000. If you donate more than $1000 you're platinum and we all owe you a beer. Many of us already donate at these levels yearly.
My hope with this email is to see if we can get 10 old boys to donate $500 for the fall upcoming season. Obviously you can donate more. Going forward, we can talk about higher tiers but we need to start somewhere. I will be the first to say i have $500!
I have always felt that successful clubs really only need 2 things. 1 is to win and secondly you need money to travel, recruit etc.. I am working with Tom to try to send something in the mail to the old boys list we have in case someone doesn't check an email. Obviously, we have a guarantee from Tom for full visibility on where the money will be spent to avoid not being spent on neck ties or flip cup! Sorry Tom
Along with the donation, we want to recognize those who contribute at the games and events. You will also have free admission to all Quin events for the calendar year and some swag.
Please reply to this email to let Tom and I know if you have interest. The club has come a long way and this could really help try to take it to the next level.
Go Quins!

Hey boys.I usually donate 500 every year for the jerseys. I can switch to doing this if this is better for the club. I may be out right now as I am planning my wedding and costs are adding up. But I will be able to probably in the near future.
