Fellow Municipal Practitioners:

Our Spring Conference begins two weeks from today.  If you haven’t registered, please do that as soon as possible so that we can have an accurate count.  It is going to be a wonderful conference!  The link is attached below.  Please also remember that if you are staying at the hotel, PLEASE notify the hotel that you are with our group so that we meet our room quota.

I also wanted to let you all know that there are several open City Attorney positions open.  The first is the City Attorney for the City of Lawton.  I am attaching a copy of the job description.  SGR will be conducting the search, but if you are interested, I would encourage you to contact Megan Loftis, a paralegal in the Legal Department, for additional information.  She is copied on this e-mail.

I am also attaching a link to the City of Enid’s website.  Long-time City Attorney, Carol Lehman, is retiring which is creating this vacancy.

Long-time City Attorney Phil Frazier is retiring from the City of Bixby.  I am attaching a link to the City’s webpage which shows the position.  Like the other two positions, it appears this will be an employed position.

See you all in two weeks!

Beth Anne
