All, Attached are the Wednesday Night Sailing Instructions for 2020. Important: Courses and mark locations for PHRF racers have changed to pre-2014, before construction of the new Tappan Zee bridge. If you are a PHRF racer you'll need to reprogram the mark locations in your chart plotters. The biggest change is for Marks D & E. Mark E has been eliminated. In its place is Government Mark 8. Mark D has been moved to its old location near South Nyack. Also, Marks A and C have been moved south from last year's locations. Please also read and understand Item 14: Penalty system. If you don't read this you might find yourself doing unnecessary penalty turns. As announced by Tony Martin earlier, the first Wednesday race is this week, 17 June. This will be a warm-up race, and it will not be scored. The Race Committee will run the race from a patrol boat. The warning signal is at 6:30 PM. The scored Wednesday night series begins on 24 June.
