THIS WEEK IN TRI CLUB (November 28-December 4) and GFC WEEK 8 ROLL CALL

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Keith and Katie.  We will
continue to provide updates through our Facebook private group and public
page as we receive them.

This week we resume a full workout calendar and also have a number of
upcoming events and activities.  Here are some of the highlights...

• End of Year Party: The party will take place on Friday, December 9 at the
Trappe Tavern.  Tickets, which are $25/person, continue to be for sale, but
ticket sales will be closing soon.  All attendees will be receiving a very
special gift plus there will be event raffles and the always fun White
Elephant gift exchange.  More information is available here...

• Annual Members Meeting / Awards & Recognition Night: Mark your calendars
for Tuesday, December 20, 7pm... We will have this annual event both
in-person (at the Spring Vallley YMCA) and via Zoom.  There will also be
the usual "meeting after the meeting" at the Railroad Street Bar & Grill
starting around 8:30pm-9pm.  Watch for an event post coming soon!

• Membership Renewals: On December 1 membership registration will open for
2023.  Watch for a separate post coming with details about pricing and how
to register.

• Sponsors Update: We're putting the final touches on our 2023 sponsors
document and will be distributing it shortly.  On this Cyber Monday and
throughout the holiday season, please keep our sponsors in mind as many of
them have special offers.

• 2023 Who's In? event calendar: The 2023 Who's In? calendar is "under
construction" and will soon be distributed with a request for your first
pass of your 2023 event calendar.  We are especially focused on the 20+
club events that are included and were announced earlier this month (see
post under "Featured" or "Announcements").

Besides all of that, the Gators Pizza Club and fall Gator Fitness Challenge
continue, so keep getting your workouts in and you can earn points,
toppings, and an invite to the January pizza party!

Gators of the Month: Congratulations to our November Gators of the Month,
Jennifer Gehret and Gleb Epelbaum!

Workouts Attendance Poll: To assist with workout planning, please check all
workouts that you plant to attend.

GFC Roll Call!: Last week was Gator Fitness Challenge week 8 (of 13), so
it's time for the weekly "Roll Call"! If you completed any of the three
challenges for week 8 (Monday 11/21-Sunday 11/27), please post a comment...

• "SBR" if you completed the Swim/Bike/Run Challenge (30 minutes of each)
AND/OR...

• "SCF" if you completed the Strength/Core/Flexibility Challenge (30
minutes total of any combination) AND/OR...

• "Plank" if you completed the progressive Plank Challenge that progressed
to 2 minutes (this week is 2:15).

• "All 3" if you completed all 3 challenges

Thursday nights starting this week through February. Also, we will not
offer a Zwift meetup on Saturday morning due to the Rehoboth Beach

• Tuesday 11/29, 6pm-7pm, Spring Valley YMCA, Wellness Center: Run workout
(treadmill) and stretching coached by Karen Dunn.  Earn the Green Pepper
Topping by attending!

• Tuesday 11/29, 7:15pm, Spring Valley YMCA Cycling Studio: Spin/Strength
workout coached by Logan Washburn. Earn the Mushroom Topping by attending!

• NOTE EARLIER TIME: Wednesday 11/30, 6pm-7pm: Zwift Meetup - Richmond "UCI
Worlds" route coordinated by Don Mack. An invitation has been sent to all
Gators Zwifters that are following Don. If you are not currently in the mix

Holiday Hustle (Lahaska, PA): This event includes 1 and 2 mile run/walk
options!

• Thursday 12/1, 6:30pm: Gators Zwift Team Time Trial Race #1.  This is our
first try at one of these events.  If you are not already in the loop on
how this works and would like to learn more, please contact David Stone.

• NEW NIGHT: Thursday 12/1, 7:05pm-8:05pm, Spring Valley YMCA Indoor Lap
Pool (4 lanes): Swim workout coached by Don Mack.  Earn the Pepperoni
Topping by attending!

• CLUB EVENT: Friday 12/2 through Sunday 12/4: Rehoboth Beach Seashore
Marathon Weekend (Rehoboth Beach, DE).  Tentative plans include a Friday
night dinner, the Saturday morning race, lots of post race festivities
following the race for the rest of the day Saturday, and the Sunday morning
"RefrigaGator Swim" preceded by the "TailGator Party" at the Purple
Parrot.  If you don't already have plans for the weekend, come on down to
Rehoboth Beach to support our 15 runners and participate in the
festivities!  And earn the Extra Cheese Topping by being there!

• Sunday 12/4, 11:15am-12:15pm, Spring Valley YMCA Indoor Lap Pool (4
lanes): Uncoached group swim workout. Earn the Hot Peppers Topping by
